A 30-yard is a big box on a long frame, and the driver needs a longer, clearer run-up than the smaller sizes to back the trailer in straight. The good news is that Heather Hills was laid out as quarter-acre single-family lots with real driveways, so the realistic plan is almost always to stage the container on your own driveway or lot rather than tying up the narrow, tightly gridded H-streets. On a quarter-acre Levitt lot that usually works fine — but if the approach is tight, sloped, or shares a curb cut with a neighbor, mention it when you book and we will plan the drop around it.
Placement also decides whether a permit even enters the picture. The City of Bowie requires a right-of-way permit only if the dumpster sits in a city street — driveways and HOA-approved staging do not. Because Heather Hills’s own driveways and lots give us room to stage off the street, a street permit ends up being the exception rather than the rule here.
